Foundation Piecing Class at Nowra

I taught a lovely group of ladies today ay Jukejema Quilting Barn in Nowra.

The ladies were starting to make my compass quilt design called "The Way Ahead".

Here is the centre section of my original quilt:

The ladies were pleased to learn my technique of paper foundation piecing. Here are some of the compass blocks constructed in class:

This one was made by Louise.  She is making all of her quilt in different values of blue.  Lovely.

This one is by Sharon from scraps!  Beautiful rich reds, greens and gold.

This one is by Karen in very pretty shades.

This one is by Donna in some very rich colours of purple, green and gold.  Very dramatic!

This one is by Sheila using her stash of gorgeous Thimbleberries fabrics.

This one is by Carol in a very beautiful range of small florals.  The red really makes it pop.

Thanks Kim for a great day in the classroom of your shop!
