Two of the ladies cut out their wedges for my whack and stack design called "Marrakesh".
Carla used a fabric which she described "as my worst nightmare" in psychedelic colours with a swirly black tree drawn over it. Wild!

We chose the amazing hand dyed looking blue for the background fabric for the fan blocks. It had a lot of colour variation and movement. Kim has a fabulous range of fabric to choose from.
Wendy went for a much more subtle approach - no nightmares here but a lovely swirly floral in blues, greens and gold:
Lesley was working on the applique for her "Fragrant Flowers" quilt. She has used many lovely hand dyed fabrics from her stash to make the arrangement of roses and iris. Whilst I did the applique by hand, she has used a turned edge machine applique technique. This is looking really very beautiful.
Cindy continued to work on her magnificent "fussy cut" version of "Ashbourne Mill" in William Morris fabrics. WOW! I think this quilt is amazing. Congrats Cindy, I love it.
We were working on the hand applique pumpkin seeds in blue on the green squares. More to come.
